How to turn of the service light on this thing? I've changed the hoses, plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor & fluids. It is a pleasant thing to work on, really. Even the instrument cluster comes out easily, with 2 forward screws holding things together.
Thanks,
Martin

Take out the cluster and fully depress a button that is located just to the right of the odometer on the back of the speedo......Cheers!!

Maybe it was offensive, or possibly irrelevant with no actual e34 in the picture?

reset on the back side. The newer 740s have a round rubber plug on the front of the dash cluster face next to the speedometer and down near the bottom of the cluster. You remove the rubber plug with a small screwdriver or dental pick and then with a small punch you push the button in the center to reset.

How do you turn it off on a 93 850 Vulva? (LOL) This is the back up unit of our fleet!

I think this wagon is a '90 model. I rather enjoyed doing maintenance on it after wrenching on the wife's x5.
