Like the US lights, you basically need to remove the lamp unit. The lamp is split in the middle. The front half, with the lens, bolts to the headlamp support bracket. So, to remove the front "lens", you need to remove pull the entire lamp off the front bracket (aiming screws basically).

Yup, but you have to pull the headlight assembly from the car. Then there are four (I believe) posts with odd plastic fittings on them that hold the lens in place. There are slots at the end of the posts for a screwdriver, but mine were so gummed up that I had to turn the fittings themselves with a pair of needle nose pliers. Turn them each a quarter turn (or whatever it takes to get the fittings to line up with their respective slots) then remove the lens.
Throw in a new gasket when you put it all back together to prevent any leaks.
