I have a '93 525I with a 123k in it.. I only have had it a couple months, I had it checked out at my BMW wrench and he replaced the fan clutch, water pump, hoses, and v-belts.
I had "low coolant" alarm come on and checked system and found small coolant leak, after engine turned off, down by right side of Rad. drain plug...
Previous owner told me "it has coolant leak, I think pin hole at expantion tank seal." (so I did know of the leak before purchase) Everthing else is fine.
Should I try to repace large and small o-rings at expantion tank? Or should I just bight the bullet and replace the Rad and expantion tank. 385.00 p & L from my BMW wrench.
