They're great in the snow and ice but why do they suck so bad in 40 degree rain? Sliding through the corners is only fun some of the time.

i did not notice any problems with wet road conditions.

It might be a hard coumpound, I never saw these but the hard coumpound could explain it.

traction control just seems to come on a lot easier when starting out or when accelerting out of a turn. I was just kidding about the sliding thing, How many miles are blizzaks usually good for anyway?

Very easy to tell... half of your tread... I hear like 10,000 miles or something.
