Can I clean the ICV without taking off the intake manifold since the ICV is located beneath it? Can I just spray some throttle body cleaner in through the throttle body ?

you really need to be able to spray the solvent into the valve to disolve and flush out the gummy deposits that interfear with it's operation

I looked up in the bentleys and it said that if I put a load on the system (such as turning on the AC) the rpm's should increase. I did that test but my rpm's decreased and then came back to normal. Does that mean that the icv is faulty? I had a hard time starting my car in the morning but when I eventually got it started it idled fine for a couple seconds and then died. Could my problem be the ICV? I checked the MAF, temp sensor, and throttle position switch.
