When i turn the wheel full lock to the left i get a loud squeal and the steering wheel shakes. Is this as simple as the belt? or is a much larger problem about to rear is head? i gives me a pretty uneasy feeling that something might be wrong w/ my steering. any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

....and mind you I'm not the smartest wrench in this tool box....that you:
A...Need to top off the power steering fluid bottle...
or
B...You have tires on the car that are a bit too wide and they rub against the body/fender/wheel well when you crank the wheel all the way.
Just my 2cts. Hope this helps.

The squeal and shake is caused by the ps system overpressurizing at full lock, or something like that. It's normal, but it's not a good thing, best to back off a bit immediately when it does that.

You should let your wife sit inside the car. I found that when I did that it stopped the squealing and shaking.
