Bimmerdood! Does your Nakamichi have an

option to set the buttons to beep or to be silent when pressing the station buttons, volume buttons, mode buttons, etc? I need to change my setting to "silent" mode, but don't have instructions to follow.

mine beeps all the time
i don't recall an option to silence it, but i'll check

in silent mode. When the battery died, everything got reset to default and I now have the beep. Any help you can provide is appreciated!

not sure, mine's usually up to loud to notice :D Do you have the CD-400 or CD-45Z? I have never seen an option for it in the normal menu, but i'm sure there's some hidden menu that i dont know how to access.

controlled via buttons by up and down arrows as well as all the other controls via buttons. So each time I raise and lower the volume incrementally I get beep beep beep beep. Thanks for any assistance you can provide! :D
