Here is something to check during your next maintenance . . .
The pipe numbered 10 in this drawing, goes out of the pump bends up along the side of the engine. There it is clamped in place by #20 before it goes to the rear of the car for the self leveling stuff. The bushing in my clamp deteriorated to the point that the pipe wore a hole in itself rubbing against the metal of the clamp.

Now for the repair questions . . . How many gazillion pounds of pressure is this system under? Can I splice in a piece of high pressure fuel hose to get through until the new part comes in? Or do I need to try to find some similar sized pipe and use tubing nuts and ferrules.
