Anyone know how to replace cabin filters for a 540i 97? My car did not come with a user manual. :( Anything would help. Thanks in advance

Im not sure if its the same as a 95 or older so I cant be sure. On ours you take the glove box out and the side carpet panel and go in from there. You might be able to get a diagram of your by going to the online ETK and searhing on the car.

I think They are a different design than the e34. I think they are fairly easy (but expensive) to replace.
BTW, see if you can buy a manual from the dealer and/or look on ebay for a complete owners "Kit" with several manuals etc in a leather like zip case.
