Wheels rubbing against strut

Went into a corner the other day and understeered right through it...poor car. Anyway comming out of this corner I heard this awful rubbing sound like the wheel was rubbing on something. I took off the wheel and can see where the inside of the tyre has been rubbing on the strut. Only get the rubbing noise on hard right hand turns?


Whats the problemo?....wheel bearing, bent stub axle (how could I bend it going through a corner)? As far as I can see though the bearing isnt making any noise and seems to turn very freely.

This is on stock "15s too... :)

bent strut housing, thats all you have to find, look around for used you dont want to pay for new. went round and round with this its the housing unless somethings really lose and fukt, in that case youd have an idea about it,
