Hi there, can someone help me with a small problem on my car, when car is idling and you quickly floor accelerator the car dies to about 300rpm (but wont cut out) if you gently touch pedal it is fine (revs up normal)
Things i have done = new plugs and completely cleaned ICV, all intake hoses and throttle body.
The car idles fine.
Hope someone can help many thanks in advance, im sure this is something stupid.

in my experiene this is normalYou need to hve a few more revs on board beforeyou floor it.If you bring the revs up a bit first(difficult i know on an auto) you will find the response is more pleasing.

Clogged fuel filter? Dirty fuel tank? Clogged air filter? Just guessing here...
