its just a pita to get it out without breaking the clip holding it in.

No worries, mines is already broken. Just can't recall the icv location from memory.

thing that would be attached to the snorkel hose coming off the intake manifold here, and the silver oriface in the bottom half (is it)http://plaza.ufl.edu/rroopnar/IM000354.JPG

Oh shoot, the injectors need to be removed for that? Job looks messier by the minute.

that's just a pic i took when i was trying to do my headgasket, its just clearer than if the intake manifold were (fixed) normally in position. no removal is necessary, just small hands.
