e30 sunroof motor conversion question????

my e30 has the manual roof handle & i found a local guy with a elec. motor.
is my car prewired for it & what parts do i need from the doner?

I would not touch that, probably too much work.
Easiest is you take the online spare parts catalog and then compare the parts of the electric one and the manual one.

On the other hand, a nice project for the long winter evenings ;-)

i've not done a manual/electric conversion but i know a bit of a goof that's done a couple so it can't be too hard, i don't think it's prewired but it should only need a hot and ground, i think the motor bolts up in place of the crank without too much voodoo
