I recently had my oil pan gasket replaced with a corked type gasket. A leak has developed again and driving me nuts. I am thinking about having the gasket changed again to stop leak. Any suggestions on which type/brand of oil pan gasket to use? (metal, rubber, cork or paper)?
TIA

You need to get the new style steel/rubber gasket. Call Yves at BMA

make sure that it's not something else leaking, the oil filter housing to block rubber seal is a common m50/52 leak and it's right there just above the pan. also if you put a cork gasket on make sure that the bolts didn't just loosen, you can't tighten down hard on a cork gasket so the bolts can back out
