Thanks to info I found on this site I was able to get the keyless entry/alarm working on my '95 525IT.Thanks. It wasn't working for months and I was dreading going to the dealer or alarm shop to get it fixed. How much is a factory remote selling for at the dealer? Just curious.There is a used one on E Bay for $41 with another day to go on the auction.

The keychain transmistter for my 740 iL from the dealer is $114.

If you're talking about just the keyfob, I bought one off of Ebay and reprogrammed the chip in my E34 530 (1994). I got the keyfob for roughly $35. It's ugly, but it works.
