Say no to in.pro :(
Some Bosch 'smilies' would be far superior quality wise.

what is in.pro?
I'd really appreciate everyone's help and advice since I JUST bought my 540 and I need to replace some headlight lenses... if it's almost as cheap to replace the whole assembly, that's fine... I just want it too look nice. Not ghetto.

not sure how well the clear lenses would work, most likely they would throw a nasty blinding to incoming drivers beam without all of the little bumps and ridges to focus and direct the light, that stuff aint there for looks

It's not going to be worth the time and money to replace your lenses...it's likely you'll have some type of problem out of them after you've went through the pain of installing them.
I picked up a set of Bosch euro spec ellipsoids 'smilies' (for the smile like cut out that's under the ellipsoid itself) for $125...it's likely you'll pay closer to $150+ for a set..but it's well worth it, much brighter...look better when they're off, and they're very high quality...just find you a nice set on ebay or ebay.de
If you're really on a budget, just pick up another nice set of US ellipsoids...most will have some pitting. In that case simply check out http://www.deltakits.com/dki-catalog/co1.html

Those are cool... I think I found a decent set on Ebay. I just don't want the "angel eyes".
I also need some of that lower bumper grill plastic inserts... anyone know a good spot for that?
Nice pics BTW!

in.pro are asian???I thought they were German....Depo lights are similar but are made in Taiwan. Have them on my car.....Love em but 1 lens is already CRACKED!!!!! I saw someone post this happened to them too. He suspected it was the cold weather....I don't know if it was the same cause on mine or if it was caused by a rock kicked up by a vehicle on the highway. If they cracked because of cold weather that's terrible because I just installed them in September and that means in just 1 season and they defected. Gotta buy acrylic lenses. I already had a cracked fog-light and 3 chips on my windshield too! I wonder if this car is a road-rock magnet or if it's just bad luck. I mean I never tail other cars and I'm quite conscious while I drive in winter and allow following distance so I don't sandblast my front end. Oddly I rarely faced this problem with any other car we own.

Post a link before you buy...some are really close, and not actually made by Bosch/Hella. There's another company Depo that makes euro ones, that are similar quality to in.pro

Regards,
Thanks for your guidance... I definitely want to get the smilies and get the right ones.
I couldn't find any that said they were bosch... searched up and down.
These looks like the best bet right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7950962268&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
plus they come with an adapter harness, which sounds like it would save me some time on wiring.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say those are probably DEPOs, simply because, new these lights Bosch or Hella cost over $400.

...for reference. I'll keep an eye out, i've got a buddy that I bought mine from, i'll see if he has anymore...i'll shoot you a PM.
