Sorry, no 4.27 LSD right now- they are sort of hard to come by in the 525/530/535i case. And Jeff, there is no 3.43 BMW ratio that I know of- there was a 3.46 (535iM) though...but I don't have one of those. 3.64LSD would be PERFECT for you anyway... :)

um what is in there factory?
what does bmwe34.net say? they suggest a 3.46 actually, up from a 3.23
so another .2 jump to 3.64 will give u a uber fast city ride, and keep you
from speeding too much on the highways =]

with the same rpm/tire size/od, around 60 mph it's only something like 3.2 mph difference, or almost 150 rpm at 60 vs 60


3:64 is too much, I have a 3:46 (not 3:43) but non LSD. Will probably end up putting that in while I wait.

I have a 3.64 LSD same as is being sold in my 535im. Absolutely terrific. Next to the chip, it is the best mod I have made. I had to change the imput shaft from my 3.46 open onto the 3.64 but that is not a problem. I still get 25mpg at 80 on the freeway.

I highly recommend this ratio.

Sorry Lloyd, no 3.46's at all right now- they have been hard to find. If you want to consider this 3.64, it's a really small increase in ratio- you'd probably not really notice it...
