sub frame bushes

My car is 1995 525 sport it needs the sub fame bushes doing has anybody done them is it a hard job are the bushes all the same or are the 540 ones harder any advice welcome

The subframe mounts, as called from BMA, are the same for all e34 and e32s. There is a procedure on Bruno's site.

I rented the tool from Koala Motor Sports ($80 w/ shipping IIRC), others (Russell? I don't remember) have fabricated their own parts using off the shelf bushing press screws and custom fabbed push/pull plates.

The directions from KMS were not as good as those from Bruno's site, but read both before you begin.
