I'm totally new to this and to be honest found the forum by chance - though I am hooked already!

I have just got a 1992 518i E34. Unfortunatly the user manual was not with the car, does anyone know where i can download a user manual from?

Failing that if anyone can let me know how the remote locking works....ie do i need the red button on the dash up or down? when can I/can't I start the car without activating the alarm etc etc.

So far I have been trying to work it our by trial and error and the neighbours are finally getting fed up with me!!

Any pointers are very gratefully received
