Trying to figure out if I can swap the lights out of an e30 and put them in e34 housings?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What Winfred said. They do not fit. The E30 guys seem to ask this alot too- maybe someone needs to start an E30/E34 ellipsoid headlight clearinghouse!!
I've got some spare E34 lights, both ellip + non-ellip- which one(s) do you need???

The dimensions are the same, but as Winfred says, the **** at the back......
E32 and E34 headlights are identical.

Ah, oh well....thanks for the info. Explains why they're like $100 more new that the e30s.
