Anyone have the 16 inch, 15 mm offset 840i style 9 wheels on an e34? I think I saw someone's photo signature with them. If so, did you use spacers to compensate for the offset (20 MM on e34?) or did you use different size tires to eliminate possible rubbing? Of course, I may be wrong about the offset. Also can you use stock wheel bolts?

I think they look very nice. TIA

No spacers needed. Just use the right size tire, 225/55R 16. The e31 offset moves the wheel outwards not inwards so you will not need spacers and your front/rear track should increase for better handling.

I used no spacers or special lug bolts. There's no rubbing with 225/55 or 225/50. I haven't tried 235/45 or 235/50 though. The 225/50 is MUCH more responsive than the 225/55 in my opinion, but you lose about 1/2" so the tires turn more meaning your mileage will go down just a little.

not one comment on the missing windshield trim, i know :D I just dont want to remove my windshield to have the clips installed in the right places. The place that did it before has since gone out of business.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I have rolled fender lips as well. They were that way when i got the car with wider 17" wheels. I'm not sure if they would rub with un-rolled rear fenders.

Did you buy new or used? Any idea of a good source used?
