I would use it, if its regular not in the bimmer. If the can was sealed air tight and no sun got to it should last a year no problem.

actually the wife's car is a great idea.... travelling next week to Tampa (~ 1K round trip), will bring it along and use little by little.... dump in some techron on the last fill up and by then she'll be due for an oil change anyway (the 4Runner...not the wife...i digress ;-P ) Have a good holiday. Assuming it's from hurricane season 2004, I wouldn't hesitate to use it even if it is regular. If you're concerned then blend half of it with a nearly full tank of premium. 2-3 gallons in 20 gallons is insignificant. BTW, my '93 525iM handles 100% regular just fine in weather below 70F. Knock sensors are wonderful things.
