What do the hubcentric rings do? Adjust how flush the wheel fits inside the wheel well?

They center the rim on the wheel hub. The E39 rims have a larger center holes then the E34.

Thanks for all of your help. The style five wheel is awsome. Theres a set on ebay off a 2000 528 with 500 miles on them.
