Johan & Sean's e32 page has a sweet writeup. Don't have the link, but Shogun often links to them (or has the link off of his page -- check there).
I can't remember if Bruno's site has one.
Make sure you've got a big ass breaker bar or a decently powerful impact wrench. Also, I think it's a ~32mm nut holding it all together. Otherwise, it's pretty run of the mill stuff. The rears are much more of a pain.

Bruno's site shows it pretty straightforward.
Check out Sean's too for more tips.

Remove the dust shields. It'll make the job easier.
To remove the nut, I used a 1-13/16 3/4 inch drive socket; a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter and a breaker bar extended with a long ass pipe (5 ft).
I pulled the hub off using a puller while heating the hub with a heat gun. Protect the spindle center with a brass plug; I used a cheapo air fitting for the puller center to push on.
You'll have to find a torque wrench that goes up to 250 ft-lbs.
I borrowed a clicker type and used the same pipe extender while my buddy held the socket in place and listened for the click. Go slow n easy.
Now would be a good time to do the brakes - rotors, calipers and pads.
