changing my manual sports seats for electric ones the passenger seat just plugs straght in with wiring under the carpet but drivers side is different type of plug do i need some kind of adaptor,drivers seat has memory,any help would be appreciated,thanks.

I just did this conversion in my 520, your harness is different for the drivers side, you will either have to go to the dealer and spend lots of money for the new wiring assemblies, or you can wire the power, and ground with a new wire to the battery, fused of course. Thats how mine worked out its great.

either that or get your hands on the memory modules that should come witht he seat.

if the harnesses were cut/damaged.
Also, to keep the memory feature, it would be great to get also mirrors, and harnesses to them.

Edit: If harnesses connectors do not match your car, is because par of the harness were left in the donor car.

the wiring harnesses in my car are one twelve pin connector,where as the connecters on the memory module under the seat are one five pin+one four pin.
