Thread: Leak at master cylinder....

    Default Leak at master cylinder....

I have a slow leak at the low pressure connections from the tank, on top of my master cylinder. The right angle connectors ooze a bit of fluid around the hexaginal washer/seals that are under them. Has anyone fixed this problem before? Thanks in advance

Yes, on a 95 540i 6 speed. Simple fix, grommets are cheap too! Pull the old ones out, put the new ones in, leak goes away!!!

Make sure that you use DOT 4 fluid, sometimes DOT 3 will cause the grommits to leak.
