    Default OT, dodge caravin died

Kinda OT, I have a 97 dodge caravan with the 3.0 mitsu motor in it. I was driving along and the car just died, It was kind of like someone turned off the key. The car cranks, but will not start. Im guessing it was electrical because of the suddeness of it, any ideas or suggestions?

is there fuel pump noise? i might think its the crank position sensor, but im just thinking of reasonable culprits, not from prior experience with the same problem.

I'd suspect a fuel delivery issue, although it'd be wise to take a peek at the electrics. The car is old enough to need a new fuel pump.

Does that engine have a timing chain or a belt?
If it's a belt, that might be the culprit.....IMHO.
