    how easy is it to get hold of M5 motors where u live?

    difficult to say. It depends on the availabillity of these modells on the used market. Here in the Netherlands a car like this with a blown engine wouldnīt be more than 1500-2000 dollars, the engine would be easy to find for approx, 2500 us, and even then these cars are for sale longer than a couple of months, specially white ones, the dutch donīt like white. I personally love Alpina Weiss II.

    My Friend just picked up a 91 with 150k on the clock for $5k. He needs to either fix the Self Level Suspension or delete it. Otherwise its a beauty. - JT

    those wheels are Tire Rack's Moda brand. Supposedly they were built by BBS..........but I think they were built by ASA under licensing by BBS. Either way I'm SURE they were inexpensive.

    Yeah, he probably sold the originals for a nice couple of pennies, and just threw whatever would fit on.
