Is anybody using German Castrol? I've been thinking about using it but was worried that it may be too light...it only comes in 0w30 but should be on the heavy side.

german castrol syntec, aka castrol slx, is the only oil certified for all 2005 model year sex machines.![]()
i use the stuff in everything, car, computer fans, hinges, lawnmowers, firearms...that is, when i can get it. reduced consumption, slightly reduced noise in m50....see no reason not to try it yourself and see if you like it. the kinematic viscosity is on the heavy side of 30w, almost a 40 wt. its much heavier than mobil 1 30wts. bobistheoilguy has a whole forum about it, that's how much they like it.
yup bitog is a very nice and informative forum. What do you think about the new german castrol...changing colors and everything. Seems like everybody is skeptical over there.
