Default Hourly gong is now missing

I used to get the gong 15 secs before each hour, now I don't.
and the gong still works OK for other stuff (hand brake on etc)
I wasn't aware that I had turned it off.

Anyone know what have I done and how can I get it back ?

put the OBC into hour function
and hit the s/r button and you
should get a symbol with a dot
and 3 curvy lines after it
