Hey everyone,
I was washing my car this morning and I found on the lower corner of the passenger door about an inch by inch spot of bubbly paint and rust. I am really concerned about this spreading further. Is there something I should do to stop it from progressing? Should I take it to a body shop? Thanks!
Brian

take it to a body shop if you don´t know what to do with it. They´ll hit it with an angle grinder and afterwards sandblast the spot, degrease it and fill it, smoothen it with paste, groundcoat it and spray it back to new. That´s basicly it , if you know the routine.Shouldn´t be more than three hours work for a pro.
OK, thanks so much for the suggestion. I think I'll probably end up taking it to a body shop since that is way beyond my level of expertise. Thanks so much!
