Is that Pontiac front-end? Don't get me wrong I would still drive it if the opportunity arose.

When is Alpina going to give up on the outdated pinstriping? It's the same style they have had forever, time to update it to match the cars IMHO.

I'm not the biggest e60 fan but the tourings look good to me. It fits the styling better than the sedan.

I still think the e12 is the best looking/made 5er.

Dude, the E90 looks like a honda from the side.

NOTHING looked like an e34 in the beginning. Yeah, I'm sure it resembled the E28, tantamount to the E46 & E36.

    'nuff said.

    Default Agreed -

The Touring looks better than the sedan - but what does that say? I thought only Volvo made wagons that looked better than the 4 doors . . . Maybe I'm just a reactionary, but it won't get me out of my e34.

The only worthy bmw controversy is narrow over wide grill imho.

That said, I would love a 4.4 awd 6 speed M5T if they truly come out with one in 06. Roundel stated that US was only going to get a awd sixer 525 and 530 I reckon, but there's always talk of taking the 545 into the touring and then M sizing it. I just want to see the awd X5 package put in a 4.4 or 4.6 or 4.8 touring.

I aint giving up my 94 530iT, but I'd love to ride in the new technology.

Can one order a 545iT in US spec in Germany and then go pick it up over there, drive it (till it's considered a used car) around a bit and then ship it home....huh? can I can I can I can I? I would love to do that next summer and avoid all the conversion crap/penalty

Thats european delivery basically right? er.. well.. i guess if they don't sell a 545it in us spec here they wouldn't special make it at the factory for you.

i want to get a euro spec bmw with a big ol' desiel that has 400hp and gets 30mpg and have it convered to us spec and ship it over.. it'd be expensive but damn it'd be cool

Default Are they completely off regular 5spds?

I like their stuff, even on the new cars, but it seems like they are leaning heavy toward autos... look at what they did to the Z8

The "out-dated" pinstripes are about as distinguishable to alpina as their wheels... don't expect it to change.
