    Default rough idle when parked on a incline

    Joining this board now that I'm an owner of a 92 535iA with 118k. Waiting for the Bentley manual but have a problem that it probably won't answer.

    - When the car is already warmed up and idling while parked on a slight incline or decline. The car can idle roughly. It doesn't do this on a perfect level grade. Doesn't do this when the car is cold.

    Any ideas?

    == Update

    This problem is gone along with better mileage and more power by doing the following

    - Pulled the diag code and had a bunch of 1222s, I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery. I read in this forum that the engine management system will adjust based on stored fault code.

    - While tracing down an oil leak, cleaned the crank position sensor.

    One or both of these did the trick. No more check engine lights either.
