Strange noise while accelerating

Hi guys!.
I'm having a very strange problem with my 94 540i. When I accelerate from a full stop, the front-right side of the car shakes a lot and makes a rattling sound. After reaching 40-50MPH it goes back to normal. I check the wheel for any damage but it seems fine. Any ideas?

Are you sure the sound is eminating from the right side? Perhaps you can give more detail. Otherwise, try checking the drive shaft/line, motor mounts or right axel. It could also be an issue of insufficient power - checking the spark plugs might be a good idea.

definetly inspect the driveline from motor mounts to the cv joints, a shake like that could come from anywhere.

Prob a bad drive shaft. They all do that, eventually.

Yes, it is the drive shaft. Getting it replaced today. Thanks for your help guys!
