Default I do nothing, they are just there.

In my Bavarian C Profesional RDS they just apear in the instrument cluster when selecting the station, just like CD selection or Tape selection. Also when turning on the Radio. I did nothing to have them there. But there should be no warning messages in the display.

The way I found out about this feature was when I was reading the recent post about the '95 540i sport that went for like $11,500 on e-bay, I was looking at the pictures of it and noticed that that car had radio station info in the instument cluster display. I did the radio version check on my radio (push the (-) button and the PROG button at the same time) and found out that it is the Alpine BMW version 3. Does this version have that feature, or is it another version? -- Thanks, Mike

My 540iA displays the station frequency (95.7) when I change stations momentarily then goes blank. I do not know if there is a way to keep it displayed constantly.

    Default Hey Bob...

    Hey Bob in San Jose,
Can you do me a favor and push the (-) button and the (PROG) button at the same time and find out what version of radio you have? My radio does not display the radio stations up on the dash board at all currently, but would be neat to have. Thanks -- Mike
