    Default Rear Differential/Rough Idle

My rear differential broke unexpectedly, took it to a shop and found out that it was leaking because of a crack. Had to replace it

I also just had my transmission rebuild, could the two be possibly related? I never had any problems with the differential before.

Ever since I got the car, I had problems with the idle. It was pretty rough, lots of vibration. I changed the engine and transmission mounts, didnt do much...Anybody know what might be the problem?

hmm...might be the power steering pump...check under the dash for a large nut behind the steering wheel and give it a few twists. If that dont help repost what you did and we'll try to help again.

    Good luck!

Default yes, I have had to reccommend that fix

    to many a relative.

The loose nut behind the wheel is always my first suspicion during any trouble shoot session.

it helped my car more than any suspension upgrade or when I redid the trans and rear end mounting bolts.

By the way, Jeff. I've still got that halogen fluid sitting in my garage. I think you mentioned that your lights are running a little low?

PM me if you still want it.
