Ooh, I did my center caps in a silver color from autozone that matched pretty damn close, but I didn't use a primer and they're peeling a little bit now (2 years later). I'll grab the bottle when I get home and let you know.
I am painting my 1992 525i bottle cap wheels. I want to know what color silver and the type of paint that is the closest match. Also, what clear coat should I use once the color is applied and dry? Any techniques or tips would be greatly appreciated.

One quick tip. If you are planning on repainting them use primer, I've used Duplicolor. Also use clear coat generously, otherwise you will end up with a dull finish.
