i feel for ya on that, i had a 2" patch crap on my 325s hood, i was lucky a e30 came through the yard with a good black hood, it even had one less lump in it then my old one. it's not too hard to touch up, wet sand and buff out a small spot

due to that ice storm we had a few months ago, some of the paint has chipped off on my acr. i now have abotu a 2 inch x 2 inch spot on my driver door with no paint, jus tthe primer.

so is that something i can do myself? the good thing it's not down to the metal. primer is stil there, and in good shape too..
what would it require to get it done yourself, and making it look good? how much am i look at in terms of time and money?
ill try to find the issue of bimmer that had a real good rundown on the proceedure and scan it
