ive used 225/60s before, they are wider than the 205s so if you dont keep the the tire pressures they look a little like marshmallows.
I have a '93 E34 (525i) and need new tires. Will 215/60-15 or 225/60-15 work on the stock rims with no problems? Discount Tire's site seems to indicate it will work.
But I figured I'd check with the folks here first

Also, The driver's door frame should show all the available tire sizes for your car.
225/60/15 trires will work fine on stock basketweave wheels. Should also work on bottlecap wheels
