    Default So I found this slip of paper under my rear seat

    Someone translate it for me ... I want to know what the numbers in the SA: field mean (I'm assuming they're options)

    Default I found that too under my old 535.....

    My initial guess was that it had to do with interior build specs or wiring specs for the particular car

    Before you start searching for 818 main battery switch: you do not have it anymore. That is only for transport from Germany to the dealer.

    Thanks for the info guys. Very informative. Regardless of how much I know about these cars, there's something new I come across every day. It's like a encyclopedia on wheels.

    POLS probably means the uphosltery color, Silber = silver, produced in hall 52.0, in pre-assembling line # 5, WKAL = Wochenkalender= production week (internal in BMW), FGNR = Fahrgestellnummer = VIN

    That is like the birth certificate of your car.
    Uhrzeit = time: 15.59= 3.59 PM exactly.

    Wow, thanks. Now I shall go and try to find a way to figure out the week it was made in.
