Exhaust + Wheels = ultimate hotness

How did you go about removing the grill? I'm thinking of doing the same painting job.

The chrome part just pops off. It's held on by lots of little tabs that snaps into place. In my experience lots of them like to break off when you remove it, but it still stays in place pretty well afterwards.

Yeah, I really like my exhaust for the $75 piece of crap that it is, just one straight pipe all the way back. It's really quiet and builds a good amount of torque though compared to my old OEM one that developed rust holes.

I want either E34 M5 wheels or BBS RKs, not really sure. My tires are relatively new though so I'm still going to rock the 15s for a while.

You need a really long flathead screwdriver, like a 10" shaft, relatively thin... there are a couple tabs behind the front corners and a couple more after that I believe. It's been a while since I've had to do it but it's a pain in the ass everytime and getting the grille to go back in right is pretty hard.

I think whenever I decide to clean up the car with a paint job I will go wide grille with a CF hood to be unique.

Mmmm, so you took off the entire front grill. I was just talking about the chrome part like Infinity5 mentioned. I've helped take the front bumper off liquidtiger's car. I'll see if I can remember the grill thing too. I'm guessing the slats in the chrome grille are accessed from the back and can only be reached when the entire grill is taken off then?

How 'bout some blackout tape? Fast, easy, reversible.
