    Default What these parts are?

Can anybody help me in identifying these parts?

Wiring for the one which looks like a lamp is on the front left side.

The second one is located in bumper, lower left side. Maybe a temperature probe?

    Thanks.

I already have two spare connectors in the front side which fit perfectly in the fog light sockets. This one has a different connector, there is a wiring which fits in this one. This lamp's connector can be closed. Meaning, you stick in two connectors into it, and clamp it down.

have you looked for the BMW 11 digit or 7 digit part number that should be somewhere on these parts? If you find them...you can go to the online parts database and look them up. What model & year BMW are these parts from?

But the parts do look like a foglight and the temp probe.

Here's a link to the temp probe (looks like the one from my E38)...see item #5 and #3: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...65&fg=05&hl=14

Can you see the resemblence of the item in the diagram (at link above) to the pic you posted (below)?

One of the fog lights survived the crash (with a crack). Its socket is completely different from this lamp. Well, this might actually be what is left from the right fog light, but the socket is different.
In the attached picture the socket clamp is openned. The socket on the fog light is not like that, it cannot be openned and clamped back.

Unfortunately there is not part number on this lamp.

definetly an ellipsoid fog light interior, the wiring clamp is open in the last picture.

the plug is still conected to the conector. what u see is the opened up plug. if u push on the 2 little clamps on the edges and pull it out u will see that the conector is identical to your other fog lamp.
