Hello,
Can anyone please tell me where the fill plug is on the A5S 310Z / 5HP18 trans? The Bentley mentions there is a fill plug but doesn't give a location for this model trans. This is what I see under my car. I see a trans pan. I see a bolt with a provision for an allen wrench as well a hex wrench on the bottom of the pan towards the front. upon loosening the nut fluid comes out. Drain plug?????? I see all bolts holding the pan on. I loosen those - fluid comes out runs down my arms and voila! a F!@@##g mess. Pan is removed, I look at it very carefully for a fill location and there is none- new filter kit installed - pan reinstalled. Where's the fill plug? my car is sitting on jackstands - leveled with all four wheels off the ground and is short several qts of trans fluid. somebody help!!!!!!

Fancy meeting you here Shogun. You must be everywhere. I actually lived in Osaka Japan years ago. That's where my fascination with BMW's and Skyline first started. First Bimmer was a 1600 - slammed, flared and fast. First Skyline was the old school round eye. It was so low it thru sparks through the streets of Ikomama - where I went to American School. Any way Thanks for the helpOriginally Posted by shogun
