    Default Coolant question

Quick Question. Is it alright to just top off the coolant in the reservoir, or will I disrupt the pressure and cause it to leak???

the coolant expansion tank is where you're suppose to fill your cooling system. And do it when the engine is cool. There should be a mark on the coolant expansion tank that has a fill line for cold engine.

right, with the trusty V8 theres no need to worry about air pockets and bleeding...add to the full mark and drive on.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought, but I wanted to ask the experts. The stupid manual that came with my car was meant for the 525 and M5 models, and I remebered something about pressurizing it with an airhose after adding coolant or something. All there is is a stupid 4 page "auxilary booklet" that says some things about the 530 model.
