Default The new headers are installed -- Sweet!!!

Awesome sound, haven't had it out on the road yet but will put them thru their paces tomorrow -- can't wait! Ditched the cats for the time being. I would have had it ready days ago but had to fab two 16" lengths of 2" tube to go from the ends of the downtubes to my stock resonator inlets. It was a bit more involved than I thought and getting the lengths spot-on was critical to get everything to line up properly. I'll post some more pic's tomorrow & report back on what they do for performance. The Hartge setup has a bunge for the O2 sensor so I transferred it over & so far it hasn't thrown a bad CEL code, still flashes a 1-4-4-4

Looks nice, Gale. Pity that we cannot hear the sound.
Do you have any idea if they do them also for the M70 engine?
And what would be the price for that?
I think FrancoiseP also asked for a similar thing for his turbo charged V12.

You shouldn't throw a CEL, because the O2 is pre-cat stock, and is still "pre-cat" given you don't have one.

    Default A few pics . . .

Noticable performance increase, especially low-mid range which I was hoping for. Rev's much more freely and needs less pedal for same power as before. In-town mpg's in the low-mid 20's when I don't have my foot in it. Haven't taken her beyond 6000 rpm but there's no hint of the power falling off yet, she pulls strong to 6k without any effort, seems alot looser. It has a really nice subdued but healthy growl -- somewhat higher pitched & louder than expected. Can't say if that's from the headers or lack of a cat, prolly a little of both.

    Dry-fit:

    Headers installed w/new gaskets:

    Merge pipes with O2 sensor:

Can I guess??? Perhaps it's cheating since I've seen it in all it's glory... quite a car. Don't make 'em like that anymore!

We'll have to meet up sometime so I can hear/feel that new exhaust!
