    No, but I've heard they work reasonably well.

    Their accuracy is down to how accurately the user programs in the weight of the car, including fuel and driver.

    At the very least, they are good for establishing a baseline for your own car and measuring the relative improvements of mods.

    My previous post on these -

    There is a good article in Car & Driver reviewing 7 different performance meters against timing lights and C&D's GPS system.

    I have the G-Tech RR now but haven't played with it too much yet. I had the original G-Tech Pro for about 4 years and it worked pretty good, definately worth the $30 or so they are selling for now.

    Bottom line on any of the accelerometer based meters is that they are great for before/after type of testing to see if how much difference a particular mod makes on the car. That's what I mainly use it for. I do plan on using this new one combined with Slip-Angle software when I make my auto-x runs in the e30 to compare each run.
