    Default MTech trim for E34??

Was that option ever offered for the e34? I know it really makes a big difference on the e36, and I was wondering how that would look if it was added to the e34 body style, would it look good enough to have a shop custom make a set.

It used to be available through the stealer, now it's a tough find but it's available now and again

Yeah but I'm talking about the one on the doors, not on the front and rear bumper, just like the ones on the M3

Yup, they exist, but are hard to find and very expensive. I think the last kit I saw had an asking price around $1k.

IMHO the difference it would make on a black car would be minimal. Still, if price were no object I'd have them, but I repainted my side sills last summer and I'm very happy with the result. On a black car, the side sills don't contrast with the paintwork, so the M-tech kit would hardly be noticed.

That's just MHO. Like I said, I'd have 'em if price were no object.

BMA sells the door skirts.... I think 100 a pop unpainted....
If it cannot be fixed by the dremel or ducktape.. get out the sledge...

They were definitely available from the stealer as mine were dealer fitted when the previous owner bought the car.

NO I'm not talking about the sideskirts or or the euro bumper trim, I'm talking about the trim that goes across the door , right in the middle of it, the e36 m3 has a thicker one than the regular e36. I was wondering if there is an option for that and would it even look good.

Look at the difference now, the difference would be the same as the M3 trim, and the regular e36 trim.
