    just wonderin , does silencer actually mean it makes it quiter.

    i thought silencers were mainly for honda's with fart cannons to make them not fart so loud? don't know if theres another purpose

    A silencer is the same as a muffler... in UK a backbox is called a silencer.

    Hes probably just put both words in his ad as people might search under each of those for the same thing.

    It will be louder than a standard back box.

    If it's a typical ANSA it won't do very much silencing.
