e34 fog light bulb

I have upgraded my headlight bulbs to HID blue and when I looked at the fog lights bulbs they said 9006, but everywhere else give me H1-55watt. Which one is correct or am I just stupid

Both of you are correct.

freeform design fog lights use 9006 and projector fog lights use h1. (at least I think thats how its differentiated). If not...i just know that both 9006 and h1 were used.
