    Default Mushy clutch pedal

Cold morning in CT today, I pressed the clutch down and it felt mushy, the pedal return was slow. Brake pedal felt fine.

Time for brake fluid change? Im thinking if there is water present in the brake fluid, it might have iced up in the lines.

Just curious to know, at what point in clutch pedal travel do your clutches engage/dis-engage. For me, I have to press all the way down and it feels like when pedal is half way back that the clutch engages/disengages.

My A4 clutch pedal only needs about 1/2" travel. I know the architecture is different for both cars, but would like to know how a E34 clutch pedal should feel.

    TIA

If water in the brake lines ices, it certainly won't make the pedal soft. Ice doesn't compress, nor does water.
